Welcome Home
On behalf of all the residents of Alkire Townhomes, welcome! Owning a new home comes with a lot of questions. The Alkire homeowners and HOA are here to help you get settled. Below, you'll find basic information and resources to help you get up and running quickly. If you need something not found here, let us know.
Trash & Recycling
Waste collection is provided by Republic Services. Their contract is not with you individually, but with the HOA. That said, you can contact them directly if you have issues with the service. Customer service: 303-371-5115.
Schedule
Trash day is every Monday. Pick-up usually occurs between 7:00 am - 8:00 am. You can put your trash out the night before, but please secure it in anticipation of high-winds or wild animals. Also, be sure not to put your trash on a sprinkler head.
Recycle waste is collected every other week, on the same day as other trash is picked up. Items you can recycle are: aluminum cans, metals, paper, cardboard, glass, and some plastics. More info...
Watch Out!
New home. Lots of boxes and trash the first few weeks. We get it. But there is a limit of 3 bags in addition to the bins provided, and bags can't weigh more than 50 lbs. If you exceed these limits, Republic will send a bill directly to you for the overage. Alternatively, you can take the trash to them. The nearest drop-off location is:

Homeowner Directory
The Alkire HOA Board of Directors maintains a directory of all our residents, including contact information. A modified version of this directory is available to all residents, but only lists contact information for those individuals who have consented to having it included. If you wish to have your contact information included in the directory, please download the Directory Listing Consent Form, fill it out, and return it to the HOA.
Pets
We love pets! We don't love stepping in poo. Whether you are a homeowner or a tenant, it is your responsibility as a pet owner to pick up after your pet at all times, every time. Please do your part to make the grounds pleasant for all to enjoy.
A reminder that the City of Lakewood has a leash law, so please don't allow your pet to wander off leash.
Monthly Dues
Monthly assessments (dues) are $405 per home. Assessments are due on the first of each month with a 20-day grace period. Payments received on the 21st or later are considered late and are subject to a $25 late fee. Your lender likely already paid your first month's dues for you as part of your closing costs. But check with the HOA if your aren't sure.
At this time, the only way to make a payment is by check.
